It was a beautiful morning today, so after the school run and taking Lily to pre-school, Unis and I had a quick tidy up at home and headed out for a walk. As we got a bit nearer to Baggeridge Country Park the fog was really coming down, but that wasn’t going to put us off!
Unis has had to be on the lead for the last few weeks, due to it being her time of the year! She has really, really missed that freedom of running as fast as she can. There is nothing I love more than watching her run flat out, as fast as she possibly can after a stick or ball and coming straight back! Her recall had really come on over the past month, we have been working a lot with a whistle which has been working beautifully, but because she was back to being on the lead I was a bit apprehensive of what she would be like today if I let her off!
The beauty of Baggeridge this morning was that there was not another person to be seen! We walked, well I say walked, I mean waded through the mud, right up to the Toposcope but all we could see was fog, fog and lots of fog!
After that we headed around the rest of the park over to the Amphitheatre and it was empty, not another dog or person to be seen! It was absolutely perfect for a little run around! And run around she did, it was amazing to watch!
